Meet the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is accountable to the community for good governance and to ensure that the CID rate collected from ratepayers is spent wisely, in the best interest of all who live in and visit Clifton and in line with the City’s SRA policy.
The Board of Directors provides strategic direction and prepares proposed budgets and plans for approval by the CID members at the annual general meeting (AGM). The AGM takes place in the last quarter of each calendar year.
The CID Manager reports to the Board Chair.
Anthony Schneiderman
Chair
Anthony was previously Chairman of the Association of Meat Importers and Exporters for 5 years and served for about another 10 years on the executive.
Allan Cawood
Vice Chair
Allan currently serves on six boards and brings his skills in strategy, budgeting, implementation monitoring and conflict resolution to the board.
Kevin Vermaak
Director
Kevin has Served on various sports-business related boards of both the Wanda Sports Group EMEA and Epic Series (formerly owned by Wanda).
Paul Boynton
Treasurer
Paul's career has included roles in financial markets and investments and over the years he has served on numerous boards as a non-executive director.
Iaan Van Heerden
Director
Iaan is currently a non-executive director on several listed board as well as a director of two private companies.
Rob Farrell
Director
Rob has owned his own company for the past 27 years and has also served for 12 years as the Chair of Board of Trustees for the Winelands HOA for 12 years.
