Despite all the holidays in April 2025, Clifton was relatively peaceful, and our teams were able to focus on ensuring that our standards of work were maintained and improved where necessary. We assisted with one arrest for possession of substances with intent to sell and apprehended an individual who had stolen a cell phone. Our LE team issued 113 fines.
Contacts with the street-based community significantly increased this month to 64 interactions, as a result of operations in surrounding areas. Freedom of movement is a constitutional right, so our role is to ensure that individuals continue their journey out of the Clifton area without committing any bylaw violations, which we’ve done with solid success.
