Our AGM was held on the 16th of September 2025 with our impact and achievements being positively received by members in attendance. We’re very proud to deliver our services, programmes and support to the community and visitors alike. Draft minutes and the annual report are available here.
We prevented 194 units of alcohol from being consumed in the public spaces during the month, and our CID funded Law Enforcement Officers issued 226 fines for a range of bylaw offences.
Contacts with the street-based community increased significantly against the previous month, with our team engaging on average 14 times in each 24-hour period with individuals moving through the area. We’ll continue to do our best to ensure that no bylaw violations are committed by individuals on the move – including settling in the public spaces.
As activity in the area increased, so did the number of CCTV and hotline alerts, resulting in our public safety officers making their presence known in 603 incidents.
